Greg and Leah founded the company in 2019. As a veteran, Greg’s journey from the military to becoming a FAA Airframe licensed technician and eventually a manager highlights his unwavering dedication and passion for the craft. His relentless pursuit of excellence, coupled with Leah’s administrative and marketing expertise, has been instrumental in establishing and growing Baker Avionics into what it is today.

During a key growth phase, Baker Avionics partnered with the Rogue SBDC to secure an equipment loan through the Capital Access Team, setting the stage for expansion. Their momentum continued with an economic development grant from Josephine County to build a new facility at the Grants Pass Airport, and ongoing collaboration with Business Oregon to explore future funding opportunities.

Through the Oregon SBDC Network’s Small Business Management Program (SBM), Greg and Leah streamlined operations, launched a new CAD Panels division, and increased gross profit, all while creating local jobs and strengthening their company’s foundation for long-term success.
