Baker Floral & Botanicals Thrives With Assistance from Blue Mountain SBDC
A lifelong passion for flowers and plants has turned Baker Floral & Botanicals into a thriving flower and botanical shop with a new location on Main Street in Baker City, Oregon.
When owners Shelley Terrill and Mollie Collings moved to the Baker City area in 2021, they turned to the Blue Mountain SBDC for help starting their new business. Together, they attended workshops, created a business plan, and received assistance in obtaining a Northeast Oregon Economic Development District (NEOEDD) loan to help boost their inventory and purchase a delivery van.
Their hard work and success did not go unnoticed! In January of this year, Baker Floral & Botanicals won Entrepreneur of the Year from the Visit Baker Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau.
