You have years of experience and understand your field better than most or perhaps you have a passion that you want to share with others. This experience gives you an edge in today’s competitive market. The Encore Entrepreneurship program will help you develop the business skills to put your experience to use as a successful, small-scale entrepreneur in your Encore Career.

Starting and running a business takes passion and skill. Your SBDC is here to help you build these skills through a combination of classroom learning and one-on-one advising. Together, you will learn techniques to keep this passion alive while avoiding burnout. You will learn how to overcome common business problems, focus on your target market, and refine your business model.

The Encore Entrepreneurship program brings together the best tools for starting a solo business, with 30 hours of classroom instruction taught by experts and six hours of one-on-one advising during the 10 week program.

Participants can also access market research from the Oregon SBDC Network’s Market Research Institute.
