The classes led me to getting hooked up with an adviser, who told me about this loan program and helped me with my application. Having (his) help guiding me through that loan process was really great.
The SBDC is here for the start and growth. The advisers and instructors help me think about things differently and get the business fundamentals right so the company can continue to grow up.
They’ve just always been there to help me with any questions I had, or if they couldn’t answer my question they would get me in touch with the people that could.
I was given the confidence to ask for help from the right kinds of people.
It was really worth it!
The SBDC support is amazing. I am able to learn every time I attend a class or work on a specific piece of my business. Last year I was able to create a profit and invested in a second food truck.
For anyone who is thinking about starting a business, the first place I’d go to is the SBDC. They’ll be able to find an adviser who can go over the details of what you’d like to do.
You’ll never experience what business is like today, until today. The SBDC really taught me to do what I do best, and to outsource the rest.
Sometimes it’s just needing to know I am on the right track. I know if I need something I can call my adviser up or email him and say I need a sounding board.
The SBDC has been very helpful because I knew nothing about business in the beginning, I just had an idea of what I wanted to do.
