The Oregon SBDC Network serves the small businesses of Oregon in good times and not so good times as they work to help build Oregon’s best businesses. And, when those challenges present themselves, the Advisers of the Oregon SBDC are on the front lines in assisting local businesses to navigate through them.
Disaster assistance, whether it be natural disasters or a global pandemic, is essential in helping support and sustain the viability of those small businesses through the crisis. The Oregon SBDC considers disaster assistance one of their higher callings to serve the underserved and vulnerable businesses of our state and are committed to their success.

What I gained from the SBDC was learning how to market my business and I gained a lot more customers from that. Without the SBDC’s help I don’t know if that would have been possible.
My lifelong dream came true because of the SBDC’s help and support.
A lot of what has been helpful is (my adviser) confirming that what I’m doing is right. I’ve taken myself out of the job in the business and working on it is the best thing I could have done. But I needed to hear from a professional that I was doing the right thing.
The classes led me to getting hooked up with an adviser, who told me about this loan program and helped me with my application. Having (his) help guiding me through that loan process was really great.
All the payment platforms, social media and finances can be really confusing, so it was really great to have direction broken down into easy steps instead of feeling overwhelmed. It’s always nice to have a person to bounce ideas off of that has experience.
Their services are amazing. We’re on the cusp of doing great things in our industry. None of it would be possible without the SBDC.
I can’t even begin to put a value on SBDC…such a great service at a time when we are trying to grow our business. A big thanks to the SBDC and Rick!
The SBDC support is amazing. I am able to learn every time I attend a class or work on a specific piece of my business. Last year I was able to create a profit and invested in a second food truck.
I was hoping for the financial knowledge, and I got so much more out of it. The course covered all the basis of owning and operating a small business from systems implementation, marketing, management of employees and the financial piece I was originally looking for.
Sometimes it’s just needing to know I am on the right track. I know if I need something I can call my adviser up or email him and say I need a sounding board.
