Grow your manufacturing business with a MAT advisor.
Oregon currently ranks 16th in the U.S. for manufacturing as a share of state GDP. Oregon’s
manufacturing industry has evolved over the past 25 years, with manufacturing concentrated in four
subsectors: high-tech/electronics, wood products, food and beverages, and
metals/transportation/other advanced manufacturing. Manufacturers directly impact Oregon’s
economy through the production of a wide array of durable goods (including semiconductors,
aircraft parts, lumber, and railcars) and non-durable goods (including craft beer, wine, and canned
fruits and vegetables).
The Manufacturing Advising Team (MAT) can help manufacturers grow, rebuild, reinvent, and
remodel with the changing times through no-cost, confidential business assessment, planning,
development, strategic advising, resources, and support.
