One colleague in particular calls me a ‘Renaissance Man’ because of my extensive travel and adventures.
Why do you do what you do?
Frankly, I love to see people experience ‘aha’ moments when they learn something new or when they realize another way of doing something they’ve been doing for a long time.
Bio:
Being a natural leader and an “outside-of-the-box” thinker has been the trademark of Marc’s professional experience. Additionally, his career exhibits the outcome of a dynamic, articulate and an exceptional communications skill set. He is execution-minded and a highly motivated communications professional, diplomatic specialist and a published author – boasting a strong track record of success in public relations, diplomacy, communications, marketing, management, and organizational leadership.
He is a U.S. Navy veteran with two combat tours to Viet-Nam. Additionally, in his 10 years working at an Oregon credit union, he has earned two annual “Member Service Awards” for member satisfaction: one in 2016 and one in 2021. The 2021 award was for having 100% member satisfaction 12 months in a row, leading all co-workers in that category.
He holds a master’s degree in Communications and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Management and Communications.
As an adjunct Professor, Marc has enjoyed teaching ‘Interpersonal Relationship’ classes in institutions of higher learning.
