Oregon’s Veterans Mean Business
The Oregon Veterans Mean Business program provides one-to-one advising and classroom training for military veterans who own or manage a new or existing business. These services, focused on veterans, help address needs specific to veteran business owners and managers. Our goal is to address the unique challenges of working with veterans who have served our nation’s military, understanding their needs and preparing them for success.
This program for veterans is offered at Small Business Development Centers at these locations:
- Clackamas Community College SBDC, Milwaukie
- Lane Community College SBDC, Eugene
- Southern Oregon University SBDC, Medford
- Treasure Valley Community College SBDC, Ontario
“The advisers have helped me to get a clearer understanding of what it takes to be in business, how to understand and use financial reports, how to market and get sales, and much more. I am moving from pen and paper to the virtual world so that I can quickly and easily retrieve my financials and manage my company….I would not be where I am today in my business without the SBDC.”
